A distinctive feature of the Obamba, clearly visible in this specimen, is the massive, protruding forehead that casts a shadow over the cabochon eyes. To complete the iconography, this mbulu ngulu features a crown decorated with an eye motif, a symbol of clairvoyance and connection to the world of the ancestors.
