Vertical Forest
Design: Stefano Boeri
The Vertical Forest is the prototype building of a new architecture of biodiversity, which places the relationship between man and other living species at the center. The first example of Vertical Forest, built in 2014 in the Porta Nuova area in Milan, consists of two towers, 110 and 80 meters high, which house 800 trees, 15,000 perennials and / or ground cover plants and 5,000 shrubs on the facades.
